Dll errors are one of the most common types of computer errors. They are also the most difficult to troubleshoot. If you’re seeing a message on your computer screen that says unable to load dll, chances are your registry may be to blame. There are 2 steps you can take to correct this issue. The registry is where all the references to installed applications are stored. Sometimes, other applications overwrite important entries in the registry database belonging to the original application. If this happens you can do the following:

1.Uninstall the application and restart. By uninstalling the application you are allowing the registry to be refreshed with new accurate references to the specified dll. An uninstall should always be followed by a restart, no ifs, and or buts. The registry will not be rewritten and updated unless you restart.

2.Reinstall the application. Once the install completes, try opening the application again. If you’re still seeing unable to load dll error, chances are the application had what’s called a dependency. There is no easy way to find what dependency is missing. Therefore, you’ll have to scan your computer for missing or invalid registry errors to solve this issue.

Luckily, there are a wide range of products on the market that can quickly fix your registry without much effort. Even better, you can try them out for free. One of the best registry cleaners on the market is a program called ErrorFix. Judging from my experience with the software, it will fix virtually any dll error you may be having.

The Windows 7 themes are out and the software is supposed to be out by the end of the year two thousand and ten. However, you need not wait that long to use this software nor are you meant to sue it only in the Windows 7 service pack. It is true that it is not supported by the Windows 2000 or the Windows Vista but hey, come on, there is more to Windows than those two services.

So what are we waiting for when these themes are available on the internet and that to for free? It is true; you can download almost all of the Windows 7 themes and you will not be charged a dime. I know you have done this before and it is high time you did it again. If you are a Windows XP user and you are used to taking these sorts of things for free then here is your chance. Grab these themes and enjoy on your own Windows XP.

But, there is something about which I want to tell you before you start downloading in a hurry. A basic difference has been created between the Windows 7 themes and the other themes but it is all the more sophisticated. However when you start suing it, it will feel quite similar to the old Windows that you are used to with. It is therefore quite user friendly and designed in such a way that if you have any Windows theme before then you can quickly acclimatize to the new Windows 7 theme. But where lies the difference?

Well, when we used the normal Windows we get a mini window if we double click on any icon or any tabs whatsoever. With the new Windows, there will be no mini Windows. The uppermost part of each window will be visible only. On selecting these, you will be able to view the whole window. However, instead of the old fashioned clock at the low bar or the side bar, the clock will be a part of the theme itself and will show perfect time. Also, the entire feel of the new theme is completely different, innovative and yo. So get the new Windows 7 themes as soon as possible.

But, one decision that you will have to make is, which themes you want. More than twenty themes of the same are available on the internet for free. However, I can give you some tips for free as to which theme you could choose or would like to choose. For example, the themes which are available are the Aluminium, the Conception and the Incredible which are the basic ones; all color and nothing else.

The Spaghetti Junction and the Snake are really interesting as is the Ether Reality and the Grass thing. The Artistic theme is also pretty cool and you will enjoy using it if you ever download it. However, my personal favourite Windows 7 theme is The Lookout. This Windows 7 theme is awesome and simply brilliant.

So, wish you guys luck, get your themes and enjoy!

As a computer repair shop owner and a past computer engineer I have come across tens of thousands of computer issues in my life. Most issues I run into are very straight forward and for someone like me with the experience it’s not hard to fix.

One simple issue I see all the time is system errors due to old software drivers. When you first get a device such as a printer or your computer they all come with drivers so the software and hardware will work as it should. Well over time things change and so do the drivers. In almost every case the manufacture will discover some flaws in the making of the driver or they need to change a few lines of code to get the hardware device to play nice with another program or hardware device. The issue is most people have no idea that the reason this one particular program is crashing is due to an outdated driver.

An outdated driver is not always the issue but one that should be considered. You would be surprised by how many times a simple update of let’s say a wireless driver can resolve a person’s issue of poor connection speeds or constantly getting dropped.

Here is a perfect example. A client of mine calls up and says that Word keeps crashing on him. We go out and run a quick check on Office 2007 to make sure there are no issues with the software. We find none. Then by seeing his office word program crash a few times I see that the issue is nothing to do with office at all. His printer, yes printer is what is causing Word to crash. He was not printing at the time of the crash so he would of never thought this to be an issue. Well after running some missing drivers software we were able to download not just the latest driver but latest software for his printer as well and this 100% stopped the issue. While I was at it I went ahead and updated several other drivers as well. One of the other issues he was having was because of an outdated video driver.

So if you are having issues on your computer then consider checking for newer drivers on your computer. It can be a bit hard to tell what drivers are outdated or missing but there are plenty of programs out there that can help you there.
